Preparing For Dragon Con!!!

Hello all!! I just wanted to get a quick post in since I’ve been really busy. It’s that time of year again,…..DRAGON CON!!!
In 11 days we will be in Atlanta, GA , lugging a ton of luggage and costume gear into the Marriott Marquis. If you are not familar, here is a little exerpt from their Facebook:
“Dragon*Con is America’s largest annual convention for fans of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror, Comics and Art, Games and Computers, Animation, Science, Music, Television and Films. It is also one of the 10 largest annual conventions in metropolitan Atlanta.”

If you go the bottom of the front page of their site you will see the extensive list of stars coming. It’s always impressive, but I’m sad that Leonard Nimoy will not be there this year. I missed getting his autograph last year and was hoping to catch him this time. :( But Brent Spiner is going to be there which is really awesome. I’ve always been a Trekkie! What makes me the most sad is two of my good friends (Belly Dancer and Billy Mayes) will probably not be coming this year. I think it’s been rough on all of us financially. Myself and the two other people have had problems with work. *Sigh*
I am still keeping my promise to myself!! To not get stressed before the Con. So far I think I will be able to uphold this if I stay busy preping costume stuff the next three days. Then all I would have to do is pack and such. I’ve been working on my Eureka Seven ref board for over a week now. Here is the artistic rendition which inspired it!
I wish I knew who created this picture because I would love to let them how beautiful I think it is and how I’m inspired to create my board from it. If anyone knows who it is, please contact me! Anyway, this is my last big project before D*Con and then I have tiny improvements to make to all my existing costumes. I realized looking back at a few costumes I did a while ago, that parts of them look terrible because I didn’t know what I was doing or I was rushed. So I wish to redo small things here and there. I have a secret upgrade for Cortana and it just came in the mail today. MUAHHAHAHAH!!! I can’t wait to open that box and if it goes well, then Cortana will be worn on Saturday night. :) Well, I have to get back to work so thanks to anyone who’s been following my website. I really truly appreciate it. I love comments or any other feedback so feel free to leave some!
