Wonderfully Terrible at the Halloween Express
So after an exhausting few weeks with non stop costume work, I’m sooo happy to be wondering what to do with myself this weekend!! I also got a nice flu/cold from Dragon Con, but I’m already feeling a bit better, so meh! My boyfriend and I were out to a late lunch and decided to wander into the Halloween Express. It’s a giant, orange, blown up temporary structure that is BACK and BETTER THAN EVER!! Of course,.. HAZ costumes for the Halloween season. :)
It’s hard not to laugh at some of the costume stuff they mass produce now. I guess it can’t be helped since we’re balls deep into costuming these days! Heh, heh… Probably something my boyfriend would say. So here we have the lovely Anime Kitty!
It’s basically kitty ears, a collar and tail,.. I think. I guess they call it “anime” because it has bows and a fake brooch? :/

It’s funny how people who costume all year long tend to change how they view Halloween or at least how they dress up for it. I know for me I still love everything about the holiday. I enjoy going to a Haunted Woods or House, etc. I love seeing the costumes, decorating the house, giving out candy or getting candy. ;P But I don’t put as much care into my Halloween costume as I used to. It feels like the costumes we put so much work into at the conventions are truly appreciated and Halloween is just casual costume time. :) It’s not a bad thing. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not hating on Halloween at all! It’s where most of us got our love for dressing up & all the imagination that comes with it.
So now that I have some time, a post about Dragon Con will be coming soon! Maybe as soon as tomorrow. We need to renew our Flickr account so you can see all the magical photos of awesomeness!!! Or just some photos. ;)
